Create New User and Password Security
When a new user is created you will create them a temporary password. The temporary password will need to meet your organisation's password security strength.
Once the temporary password has been set, the new user can log into iCareHealth with their username and temporary password. They will be prompted at this time to re-set their password. This ensures that no one else in the organisation will know their password. This is a one step process.
User Forgets Their Password
When a user forgets their password, they can be allocated a new temporary password. Simply navigate through the Admin menu to the user list page, search and select the user to open the user edit page. Click the Change password link to enter a temporary password for the user and save.
Once the user is allocated a new temporary password they will be able to log in and will be prompted to reset their password to ensure password security. See steps outlined in Create New User and Password Security.
Due to the nature of an agency user, the concept of temporary password and password reset are not used.
When a new agency user is created, the password entered will not be a temporary password and will not be required to be reset when the agency user first logs in i.e. the password you set remains active.
When the password security is updated for an organisation, the agency user will NOT be prompted to update their password. To ensure security is protected the agency user will not be able to log into the applications until their password has been updated to match the new password security by someone within your orgainsation. This can only be done through the change password function within user edit screen.
