Built In User Roles
In order for a user to access Medication Management they must be assigned a User Role. Although you are able to build Custom Roles, Medication Management comes with a predefined list of rules that should meet the majority of your requirements. The details below explain the permissions for the built-in security roles.
Note: Built-in roles are not able to be customised.
Caregiver:
This role can access most areas of the system except the following:
- Set up/change new users (Admin/Users)
- Configure building preferences (Admin/Settings)
- Edit History
- Edit residents
- Edit med orders
- Review/Approve Orders
- Dashboard
Caregiver with Review:
This role can access most areas of the system except the following:
- Set up/change new users (Admin/Users)
- Configure building preferences (Admin/Settings)
- Edit History
- Edit residents
- Edit med orders
- Dashboard
Supervisor:
This role can access most areas of the system except the following:
- Set up/change new users (Admin/Users)
- Configure Care Home settings (Admin/Care Home Settings)
Supervisor – No Review:
This role has the same permissions as the Supervisor role except they are not able to:
- Review/Approve orders.
Administrator:
This role has full access to the medication management application.
Administrator - No Review:
This role has the same permissions as the Administrator role except they are not able to:
- Review/Approve orders.
Read-only:
This role is unable to access most areas of the system but any users with this role can:
- View Resident/Orders screen
- Run the MAR and TAR
