Inventory Tracking
Inventory > Inventory Tracking
This area of Medication Management allows the you to configure several settings that relate to inventory.
- From the application menu, click Admin
- Click Settings
- Click Care Home Settings
- Click the Inventory tab and locate the area called Inventory Tracking
For the Inventory Tracking settings you have a number of configurable components as listed below.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Turn On/Turn Off |
Enables inventory tracking, note if Turn Off is selected all further options are disabled |
Track Meds Taken From Emergency Supply | Allows users to use the E-box stock option; this allows meds to be administered when the stock levels are zero or below |
Require Witness When Receiving Controlled Substances | Enables the need for a second user to add their credentials when adding controlled medication stock |
Customise Stock Check |
Tick to enable, settings below |
Show System Count After |
Determine how many Stock Check failed attempts need to be logged before the user is shown the system count |
Hide System Inventory Totals From |
Determines which user roles have the inventory totals hidden by default |
Exclude Non-Controlled Items From Stock Check And Confirmation Prompt |
Tick to use the stock confirmation prompt for controlled items |
By Default, Track Inventory On All Medication Orders (Can Override At Order Level) | All orders have the Track Inventory tick added by default |
Advanced Stock Check | Allows users to include/exclude certain residents, include/exclude controlled or non-controlled items in Stock Checks |
Include DC Meds In Stock Check If Inventory Is Greater Than Zero |
When performing a Stock Check, Discontinued Meds are included if the quantity is greater than zero |
Stop Showing After X Days, Regardless Of Inventory Value | Determines how long the DC meds show in the Stock Check |
Enable Stock Inventory |
Enable the inventory tracking feature for Stock Items (Homely Remedies) |
