Order Management > Require Witness for Adding/DCing Meds
This setting is used to enable the witness function when adding new or discontinuing medication. Enabling this setting, will mean a second user is required to confirm when completing either of those activities.
- From the application menu, click Admin
- Click Settings
- Click Care Home Settings
- Click the Occupancy Management tab and locate the area called Require Witness for Adding/DCing Meds
For the Require Witness for Adding/DCing Meds setting you have a number of configurable components as listed below.
|Discontinued Meds||Tick to enable the witness requirement when discontinuing a medication|
|New Meds||Tick to enable the witness requirement when adding a new medication|
Note: When this setting is enabled for New Meds, it will add an additional approval on top of the existing approval function.
