Online Care and Staff Service Issue - 06/05/2019
On Saturday 3 May at 17:35 the database server which hosts our Online Care & Staff service was impacted by an Azure fault which affected databases hosted in Microsoft’s North Europe datacentre.
Following the resolution of the Microsoft error, our monitoring service did not identify that the application was unavailable.
Following customer feedback, our engineering team restored the service on Monday 5 May at 14:10.
Additional monitoring has been added to the Online Care & Staff service to alert our engineers to outages of this type in the future.
